The Mountain Goat and Ram Hunt

Mostly the bigger Tazis are used for this hunt technique. The mountain goat is hunted in the mountains. The hunters hide behind rocks nearby an animal path. The hunters wait until the prey is close enough; then they loosen the dogs. Two dogs hunt each prey. The dogs grab the testicles or the legs to stop the prey. Sometimes the Tazi jumps on it like a lion and bites into the neck until the prey goes down on its knees. Then the hunter comes to slice the throat.

The wild ram is more likely to be found in area that is hillier. The ram is usually hunted by one dog, sometimes by two. The technique of the line hunt is used.
